• My stairs, hall and landing, which is decorated in a matt emulsion, gets scuff marks and is hard to keep clean. I am looking to redecorate, could you suggest a type of finish?
• In areas that are prone to marking it is advisable to use a more durable product, such as Johnstone's Washable, alternatively if you want something other than a matt finish you could use Johnstone's Soft Sheen Emulsion, or Silk Emulsion - these are more resistant to marking and scuffing than a normal matt emulsion.
